THE SASMITA PROJECT

'Sasmita' is an Indian girl's name that means "always laughing". Many organizations are doing wonderful work in bringing food, housing and schooling to children without families in under-developed areas. We long to bring this to another level and see these children fully experience the joy of life, in the same way that a child in a healthy family would experience more than just their physical needs being met.

One way we want to do this is through coming alongside current children's homes and giving the children spiritual skills to overcome their circumstances in wondrous ways and artistic skills for enjoyment and future employment.

The Sasmita Project begins with children in India and will expand from there to other countries and regions around the world.
